今切口で海と繋がっている汽水域を有する湖。湖岸線に富み、湖の面積は国内8位ながらも、湖岸線の長さは琵琶湖・霞ヶ浦に次いで国内3位。新幹線から眺めるだけではもったいない、またぜひ浜名湖を訪れて、自然と美味しい食事を堪能したいと思える素晴らしさです。

釣りや貝拾いは勿論、ウェイクボードやジェットスキーまで幅広く遊べる湖ですが海水域でとても魅力的なスポットですよ外洋へのアクセスも良く、幅広い遊びが出来ると思いますよ
